How LogistiX collects, uses and protects personal information on our website, the LogistiX web platform, and the LogistiX mobile app for iOS and Android.

Effective date: September 25, 2026 · Last updated: September 25, 2026

The short version

  • We collect only what is needed to receive, ship, deliver and bill for packages, and to run your account.
  • We do not sell personal information and there are no ads or third-party tracking in the mobile app.
  • Card payments are handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
  • Location is used only for drivers, only while the app is open on the route screen, and when a delivery is marked complete.
  • The camera and photos are used only when you choose to upload an invoice.
  • You can ask us to delete your account and data at any time.

1. Who we are

LogistiX is operated by COMSOL NC LLC, a North Carolina, USA limited liability company ("COMSOL", "we", "us"). This policy covers:

Couriers and their customers

LogistiX is software used by freight forwarders, couriers and skybox operators ("Couriers"). If you are a skybox customer, shipper or driver, your account was created by, and your packages are handled by, the Courier you do business with. For the shipment, customer and delivery records a Courier keeps in LogistiX, the Courier decides what is collected and why, and we process that information on the Courier's behalf and under its instructions. Each Courier's records are kept in a separate database.

For information about Couriers themselves (for example, the business owner who subscribes to LogistiX), visitors to our website, and people who contact our sales team, COMSOL is responsible for that information.

If you have a question about how your Courier uses your information, you can contact your Courier directly, or contact us and we will pass your request on.

Information collected automatically

  • Driver location: precise location of drivers using the app, as described in section 3.
  • Device and notification data: a push notification token, device platform (Android or iOS) and app version, so we can send notifications to the right phone.
  • Log and security data: IP address, browser or device type, date and time of requests, and error logs, kept by our servers to keep the Services secure and working.
  • Website data: our marketing website uses a Google Ads tag, described in section 7.

We do not collect contacts, calendars, SMS, microphone audio, health data or background location through the app.

3. Mobile app permissions

The app asks for a permission only when you use a feature that needs it. You can refuse, or turn a permission off later in your phone's settings; the rest of the app keeps working.

PermissionWhy we askWho
Location (while using the app)While the My Route screen is open, the app shares the driver's position with their Courier about every two minutes so dispatch can see where deliveries are. When a driver marks a package delivered, the location is saved with the delivery as proof of delivery. Location is not collected when the app is closed or in the background, and it is never collected from customers or shippers.Drivers only

NotificationsTo tell you when a package is received, shipped, arrived, delayed, ready for pickup or out for delivery, when a pickup is scheduled, and when an invoice is due or paid.All users

Tapping Navigate or Call opens your phone's own maps or phone app; those apps are governed by their own privacy policies. If a Courier turns on route optimization, delivery addresses on the route are sent to Google's Directions service to calculate the best order of stops.

4. How we use information

  • To provide the Services: receive, store, consolidate, ship, clear and deliver packages; create receipts, waybills, manifests and invoices; show tracking; run driver routes and pickups.
  • To process payments: send invoices and payment links and record payments made through Stripe.
  • To communicate with you: send service emails and push notifications about your packages, pickups, account and payments, and answer your questions.
  • To support customs clearance: prepare manifests and share invoice and consignee details with customs authorities and brokers as required by law.
  • To keep the Services secure: sign you in, check your role and what you may see, prevent fraud and abuse, and fix problems.
  • To run our business: manage Courier subscriptions, respond to sales enquiries, and meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not use your information for advertising in the app, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.

5. How we share information

We share personal information only as follows:

  • With your Courier and its authorized staff (for example, warehouse, billing and dispatch), who can see the records needed to handle your packages.
  • With partners who handle your shipment, such as a sub-courier or agent your Courier uses to deliver in your area, or a customs broker.
  • With government authorities, such as US Customs and Border Protection and the Jamaica Customs Agency, where shipment and consignee information is required for export, import and clearance.
  • With our service providers listed in section 6, who process data only to provide their services to us.
  • For legal reasons: to comply with law, a court order or lawful request; to enforce our terms; or to protect the rights, safety or property of our users, the public or us.
  • In a business transfer: if COMSOL is involved in a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, information may transfer to the new owner under this policy.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

7. Cookies & advertising

Our marketing website (getlogistix.com) uses the Google Ads tag, which may set cookies to measure how our ads perform, for example whether a visitor who clicked an ad later started a trial. You can control cookies in your browser settings and manage Google ad personalization at adssettings.google.com.

The LogistiX web platform uses browser storage only to keep you signed in and remember your settings. The mobile app contains no advertising and no third-party analytics or tracking.

8. Data retention

  • Account and profile data are kept while your account is active and deleted or anonymized after it is closed, as described in section 11.
  • Shipment, customs and billing records (receipts, waybills, manifests, invoices, payments and proof of delivery) are kept for as long as the Courier and COMSOL are required to keep them under customs, tax and accounting laws.
  • Driver location updates are kept as part of the Courier's delivery records; the location saved with a delivery forms part of the proof-of-delivery record.
  • Push notification tokens are removed when you sign out of the app or when the token stops working.
  • Sales enquiries are kept for as long as needed to respond and follow up, and then deleted.
  • Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting.

9. Security

We protect information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including:

  • encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) for the website, platform, app and all API calls;
  • a separate database for each Courier, so one company's records are not mixed with another's;
  • signed, short-lived sign-in tokens and role-based access, so each user sees only what their role allows (for example, a customer sees only their own packages and invoices);
  • uploaded documents stored in private cloud storage and shared only through time-limited links;
  • card payments handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI DSS Level 1 certified provider.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. If we learn of a security incident affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant Courier as required by law.

10. Your choices & rights

Choices you can make any time

  • Update your details in the Account tab of the app or in the customer or shipper portal.
  • Turn off push notifications or location, camera and photo access in your phone's settings.
  • Sign out of the app, which removes your device from our notification list.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the Jamaica Data Protection Act, 2020, the EU/UK GDPR, or US state privacy laws such as California's), you may have the right to:

  • know what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to or restrict certain processing, or withdraw consent you gave;
  • receive your information in a portable format; and
  • complain to your local data protection authority.

To make a request, email notifications@getlogistix.com with the subject "Privacy request". We will verify your identity (usually by confirming the email on your account) and respond within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires. Where we hold your information on behalf of a Courier, we will work with that Courier to respond. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

11. Delete your account and data

This applies to the LogistiX mobile app and the LogistiX web platform (developer: COMSOL NC LLC).

You can ask us to delete your LogistiX account and associated personal data in either of these ways:

  1. Email notifications@getlogistix.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my LogistiX account". Include the name of your Courier and your Box # if you have one.
  2. Use the form below.

We will confirm your request, verify that it came from the account owner, and tell your Courier. Deletion is completed within 30 days of verification.

What is deleted

  • Your sign-in account (email and password) and your ability to log in to the app and portal
  • Your profile: name, phone number, address, TRN, pickup preferences and authorized persons
  • Invoices and documents you uploaded, unless still needed for a shipment in progress or a customs record
  • Your device and push notification tokens
  • For drivers: location updates not attached to a completed delivery record

What may be kept, and for how long

  • Records the law requires us or your Courier to keep (such as customs manifests, waybills, invoices, payment records and proof of delivery) are kept for the legally required period, usually a number of years, and then deleted. Where possible, we remove or anonymize your contact details within these records.
  • If you have unpaid balances or packages still at the warehouse or in transit, your Courier may need to settle these before your account is closed; we will let you know.
  • Backups are overwritten on a rolling schedule and are not used to restore deleted accounts.

12. Children

The Services are intended for businesses and adults. They are not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

13. International transfers

COMSOL is based in the United States, and our servers and service providers are located mainly in the United States. By its nature, shipping between the United States and Jamaica means information travels between both countries. Where the law requires, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the Services change. We will post the new version on this page with a new "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, notify Couriers and, where appropriate, users by email or in the app.
